The two reunited backstage at the last stop of The Millennium Tour
Bow Wow and Chris Brown's friendship goes back to the
beginning of the millennium; when teenagers begged their parents to buy
magazines and Scream Tour tickets. Years after Bow and Brown's last
collaborative project, "Aint Thinkin' Bout You," the two reunited
backstage at the final stop of the 2022 Millennium Tour in Oakland, Calif., on
Sunday (November 27).
Chris Brown appeared as a special guest, which also included performances from Mario, Keri Hilson, Lloyd, Pleasure P, Bobby V, Day 26, Ying Yang Twins, Dem Franchise Boyz, Crime Mob, etc.
The genius of the song "Under The Influence" appeared
to have greeted Bow Wow while he was in his dressing room, where the
"FreshAzImIz" rapper more than excited hugged him, and had a small
talk with him for a couple of minutes — before posting a photo of the encounter
on Instagram and Twitter. “Since Day 1. Never changed. One thing I can always
count on… is that my brother always has my back. He knows I'll do the same!
Brothers forever," he wrote on IG.
The 35-year-old artist followed up with the tweet: “Only
friend I have in this industry… and we never change. Since Day 1. My homie came
to support me last night! @chrisbrown #millenniumtourturnedup.” Breezy took to
Bow's comment section with: "Love you my brother."
The two collaborated three times in their careers on the
singles "Run It (Remix)", "Shortie Like Mine" and
"Ain't Thinkin' Bout You". However, in March 2018, Bow attacked CB in
a freestyle called “Drunk Off Ciroc”, alluding to the idea that the two had
fallen out. The song was surprisingly excluded from her 2019 mixtape Greenlight
6, which was promoted a year before the song. A short time later he said he had
no problems with the singer and was just expressing himself.
